Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) to ensure product integrity
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate warehouse management system records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in temperature-controlled environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage logistics and rotation schedules
- Prepare shipments with proper insulation and temperature monitoring equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic math proficiency for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- High school diploma or equivalent required
