Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper placement in cold storage.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the freezer and cooler zones.
- Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any safety hazards immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, temperature checks, and paperwork required by management.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme cold temperatures (0°F - 40°F).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and handling merchandise.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license and social security card.
