Responsibilities
- Unload and refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature control protocols
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in a 32°F-40°F environment
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas according to food safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
