Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in -10°F to 40°F storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated equipment with OSHA compliance
- Conduct inventory audits using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Inspect and sanitize storage facilities per FDA/USDA standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Document temperature logs and quality control reports
- Adhere to HACCP principles for food safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic knowledge of WMS inventory management systems
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
