Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and document temperature conditions in refrigerated units
- Load/unload trucks while maintaining strict FIFO inventory protocols
- Sanitize equipment and facilities using food-grade cleaning solutions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Comply with OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
