Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move temperature-sensitive products within refrigerated facilities
- Inspect and maintain optimal storage conditions (-10°F to 40°F) for perishable goods
- Perform inventory counts using handheld scanners and digital tracking systems
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and HACCP compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient loading/unloading of shipments
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately to supervisors
- Assist in maintaining accurate warehouse documentation and shipping records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
- Willingness to work in cold environments (4-8 hour rotations)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
