Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts following FIFO protocols
- Conduct daily inventory audits and cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold environments
- Operate power pallet jacks and material handling equipment safely
- Monitor warehouse equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of all storage areas per food safety guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments for 4+ hour shifts
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Valid Tennessee driver's license preferred
