Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 part-time staff, providing clear direction and performance feedback
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Optimize space utilization and streamline workflow processes for maximum efficiency
- Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory and generate operational reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to operational detail
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder updates
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts (20-25 hours/week)
