Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect product quality and report temperature deviations immediately
- Perform inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trailers with proper PPE usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays as needed
