Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in assigned storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems safely
- Inspect and document product integrity upon receipt and dispatch
- Follow HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Perform inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for seamless operations
- Participate in quarterly sanitation and safety drills
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass test within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
