Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and processing incoming shipments
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse maps, labels, and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Clean driving record and valid state ID
