Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 45°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment with precision
- Execute inventory management including receiving, put-away, and cycle counting
- Adhere to HACCP, FDA, and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Perform quality control inspections on perishable goods and packaging integrity
- Document temperature logs and inventory data using WMS systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment
- Maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work zones
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation processes
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
