Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 45°F)
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for loading/unloading refrigerated trailers
- Conduct daily sanitation and sanitation checks on all equipment and storage areas
- Inspect product integrity and report any quality discrepancies immediately
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols for cold environments
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and shipment documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
