Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration monitoring systems
- Inspect and document product integrity during storage and retrieval
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Coordinate inventory management using WMS technology
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following USDA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments with appropriate PPE
- Basic inventory management system proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
