Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control protocols for refrigerated/freezer zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in confined cold storage areas
- Perform inventory counts using RF scanning technology
- Inspect and package perishable goods according to FDA standards
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines for cold environment work
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks with tight delivery schedules
- Document temperature logs and quality control checkpoints
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in sub-zero conditions
- Basic RF scanner/WMS experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in 4-hour shifts below 32°F
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
