Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control in refrigerated (-20°F to 40°F) and frozen (-20°F or below) storage zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety standards during handling and storage
- Perform inventory audits using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following GMP protocols
- Load/unload trucks while maintaining FIFO inventory rotation
- Document temperature logs and quality control checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and personal protective equipment
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
