Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners.
- Cold Storage Compliance: Monitor and adhere to strict temperature control protocols to ensure product integrity.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the refrigerated sections.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Equipment Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a major plus.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in fast-paced settings.
