Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Safely load and unload inbound and outbound freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with a high degree of accuracy to ensure on-time delivery.
- Stock Organization: Maintain accurate inventory levels by organizing stock in designated zones and shelves.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Cycle Counting: Assist in regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock discrepancies.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience using handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Reliability: Proven history of punctual attendance and a strong work ethic.
