Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments with precision
- Execute inventory management using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation standards
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive shipments with proper handling techniques
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse operations
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
