Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products (food, pharmaceuticals) using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality control inspections for product integrity and packaging compliance
- Adhere to HACCP protocols, sanitation standards, and OSHA safety regulations
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Maintain accurate documentation of storage conditions and product movements
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
