Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated warehouses (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient inventory movement
- Inspect and sanitize equipment/facilities daily to meet FDA standards
- Manage inventory tracking using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Coordinate loading/unloading of perishable goods with precision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold environment work
- Document temperature logs and quality control reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Spanish bilingual a plus
