Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain temperature-controlled storage areas using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory according to FIFO protocols
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods upon receipt and dispatch
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold storage operations
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety protocols
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
