Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital thermometers
- Inspect, sort, and package perishable goods following HACCP protocols
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated zones
- Conduct daily inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and personal protective equipment guidelines
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
