Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Load/unload temperature-controlled vehicles using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect and organize inventory according to FIFO protocols
- Operate and sanitize cold storage equipment (conveyors, racks, etc.)
- Enforce strict HACCP and safety compliance standards
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs digitally
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in 32°F-0°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
