Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move refrigerated products efficiently
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols (40°F) for perishable goods
- Perform inventory audits using RF scanning technology
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all operations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for loading/unloading refrigerated trailers
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following food safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environment
- Basic RF scanner proficiency or technical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
