Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, sort, and organize stock within the refrigerated warehouse.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintenance: Keep the storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Skills: Basic computer literacy for logging data; ability to read and write in English.
- Availability: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
