Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to transport stock within the facility.
- Order Processing: Package and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Inventory Control: Perform inventory counts and update stock records as needed.
- Team Support: Assist in the organization of the warehouse layout and help team members as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic Math: Good math skills for counting, weighing, and measuring items.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Dexterity: Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Reliable transportation to and from work.
