Responsibilities
- Manage daily cold storage inventory using WMS systems and RF scanners
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Enforce HACCP compliance protocols during loading/unloading operations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse workflow
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate temperature logs and quality control documentation
- Train new hires on cold safety procedures and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills in temperature-controlled environments
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
