Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) across refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Execute FIFO inventory management using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated material handling equipment in cold environments
- Conduct quality control inspections on perishable goods upon receipt and dispatch
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA compliance standards for food safety
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain detailed documentation for inventory control and regulatory audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and precision in inventory control
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
