Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and freezer units
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products efficiently
- Inspect and document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report issues
- Load/unload shipments while maintaining proper stacking techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
