Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate refrigeration systems and perform routine inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Sanitize equipment and maintain hygienic storage conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification and pallet jack operation skills
- Ability to work in -10°F environments for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid Louisiana driver's license preferred
- Experience with WMS software (e.g., Manhattan Active, Oracle)
