Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity controls in refrigerated environments
- Inspect, operate, and maintain cold storage equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive goods while following HACCP protocols
- Conduct routine safety audits and maintain accurate inventory logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
- Implement proper sanitation procedures for food-grade facilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in refrigerated warehouse environments
- OSHA Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP/SQF)
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Proficient in inventory management systems
