Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (0°F to 32°F)
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment and facility integrity
- Manage inventory using WMS systems with 99.5% accuracy
- Comply with HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize palletized goods
- Monitor temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions
- Train new hires on warehouse safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
