Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload palletized goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable inventory
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, temperature scanners)
- Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols for food handling
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-zero environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
