Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and freezer sections
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Load/unload shipments following FIFO rotation protocols
- Conduct daily inventory counts using barcode scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Perform sanitation and pest control procedures
- Assist with quality control inspections of perishable goods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Forklift certification a plus (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
