Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within -10°F to 40°F environments
- Monitor and maintain proper temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Inspect products for quality and report spoilage or damage
- Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory rotation procedures
- Complete accurate shipping/receiving documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and HACCP safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
