Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls and monitoring in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment in cold environments
- Inspect, sort, and store perishable goods according to HACCP protocols
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Follow FIFO inventory rotation procedures and WMS documentation
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards for cold stress and equipment operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient load planning
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to complete training
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
