Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks following food safety protocols
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold environments
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold conditions for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to work nights/weekends with overtime pay
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Team player with strong communication skills
