Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using forklifts/pallet jacks
- Inspect products for quality and report spoilage or damage immediately
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and maintain accurate inventory records
- Collaborate with team members for efficient warehouse operations
- Perform sanitation duties and maintain clean workspaces
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
