Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature monitoring in refrigerated/freezer zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct quality inspections and inventory audits in cold environments
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient product rotation FIFO/LIFO
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all storage zones
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule (including weekends)
