Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and stock rotation following FIFO protocols
- Adhere to strict HACCP and food safety standards
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, scanners) safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all storage areas
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
