Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in climate-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment following OSHA safety protocols
- Monitor temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Sanitize workspaces and maintain strict hygiene standards for FDA compliance
- Assist with inventory management using barcode scanning systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Ability to work in cold environments (thermal gear provided)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
