Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers and semi-trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Organize, stock, and rotate inventory within the freezer and cooler sections to ensure freshness.
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and cold storage protocols.
- Inspect handling equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to ensure operational flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
