Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage units
- Safely handle, palletize, and rotate perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing shipments for compliance with safety standards
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA protocols for food safety
- Perform routine sanitation and maintenance of storage areas
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
