Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain optimal temperature zones (-10°F to 40°F) for perishable goods
- Inventory management using WMS systems with remote reporting capabilities
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Coordinate with logistics team via remote communication tools
- Document inventory movements using digital tablets and cloud systems
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 6+ months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for remote reporting tasks
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to facility
