Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Inspect and rotate inventory following FIFO protocols
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with team on inventory counts and order fulfillment
- Sanitize workspaces and equipment using approved cleaning agents
Qualifications
- 6+ months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for digital record-keeping
