Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage zones
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits in cold storage areas using barcode scanners
- Enforce strict sanitation protocols and HACCP compliance standards
- Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks and pallet jacks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cold chain efficiency
- Document temperature logs and operational metrics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
