Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Conduct daily safety inspections of refrigeration equipment
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs
- Operate cold storage machinery following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with quality control teams for compliance
- Assist in deep-cleaning sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in 0-40°F environments
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
