Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products within -10°F to 40°F environments
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels using digital monitoring systems
- Perform inventory audits and cycle counts with handheld RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Prepare and load outbound shipments with proper temperature documentation
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following food safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Valid California driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent required
