Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move frozen/refrigerated products safely
- Inspect inventory for quality compliance and rotate stock using FIFO methods
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in digital systems
- Collaborate with team on efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Valid Texas Driver's License (preferred)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
